Wanjira Mathai is a Kenyan environmental activist, and daughter of 2004 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Wangari Maathai.
In 2018 Wanjira was selected as one of the 100 Most Influential Africans by New African Magazine for her role serving as the senior advisor at the World Resources Institute as well as for her recent campaign to plant over 30 million trees through her work at the Green Belt Movement, which was founded in 1977 by Wanjira’s mother Wangari Maathai .
Sarah, Duchess of York, formerly married to Prince Andrew and a member of the British royal family.
The Duchess is committed and active in both humanitarian (especially children) and wildlife conservation charities, and has also written a number of children’s books. Since 2016, Sarah, the Duchess of York has been global ambassador for the Swedish-based wildlife conservation and environment organization The Perfect World Foundation, where she has been involved in issues surrounding the organization’s work with biodiversity.

de Gelder is working with lecturing, documentaries and TV Shows to spread awareness about the importance of sharks for a health ocean ecosystem.
